Esplora는 큰 크기의 스타터 보드로 제작되었으며 쉬운 상호작용을 위한 센서번호가 내장되어 있습니다
Esplora는 전자 배선을 배우지 않고 아두이노로 실행하고 싶은 사람들을 위해 설계되었습니다
Esplora는 온보드 사운드와 빛 출력, 조이스틱을 포함한 여러가지 입력센서, 슬라이더, 온도 센서,
가속도계 microphone 및 광 센서로 구성 되어 있습니다
또한 두가지 Tinkerkit 입력 및 출력 커넥터, color TFT LCD screen을 위한 소켓을 추가해 확장 할 가능성이 있습니다

Arduino Leonardo 처럼 Atmega32U4 AVR 마이크로 컨트롤러를 기반으로 하며
16 MHz의 크리스탈 오실레이터를 사용
USB 클라이언트 장치 역할을 할 수있는 마이크로 USB 연결
Esplora는 USB 통신이 내장되어 있기 때문에 virtual (CDC) serial / COM port 뿐만아니라
마우스와 키보드로 컴퓨터와 연결해 나타낼수 있음
5 피트 길이의 마이크로 USB 케이블 함께 제공

The Arduino Esplora is a ready-to-use, easy-to-hold controller that lets you explore the infinitive possibilities you have in the world of sensor and actuators, without having to deal with breadboards, soldering or cable.

There is no limit to the applications-amusing, educational, useful - you can program. You can even add a couple of extra sensor and actuators if you need them. Add a colour LCD module and you'll be able to create original game on your very own open-source console!

The Esplora combine the Arduino processor with a range of sensor and actuators:
- light sensor
- temperature sensor
- 3-axis accellerometer
- joystick
- set of push bottom
- slider
- RGB led
- buzzer

The esplora can emulate a mouse or keyboard, allowng you to create your own controller for musical software, 3Dmodeling tools, or even a word processor. It actually comes pre-programmed with a game controller script, so you can plug it into your computer and start playing as soon as you open the box.
